About Us...

This service is provided by ITE as part of its mission to use technology to the betterment of our community. In helping nonprofits maximized use of technology, they in turn reduce operating costs, increase service delivery and quality while maintaining regulatory compliance and security. These benefits allow our nonprofit clients to re-focus resources on their mission, which results in a stronger community.

What We Do...

ITE has built and maintained several social efforts - either on its own, or through partnership with other nonprofit organiaztions and Federal/State agencies. Some of these programs are mentioned elsewhere in this website. To date, ITE's community focus has centered in the State of Maine, from Kittery to Fort Kent. Most of our efforts involve computer & information technology access and literacy, workforce development, as well as private/public partnerships that encourage our mission. Partnering with other nonprofits has always been at the core of our success.

This Service Is NOT a 'Computer Repair' Service...

In three words - depth of service. ITE is a Nonprofit, and through years of work with other nonprofits, we have a very deep understanding of the common technology problems, compliance issues and infrastructural needs of our industry. Many of the resources and systems we want to share with other nonprofits were initially built for use in our own social programs. Instead of expensive reactive 'break and fix' services, we learned a long time ago that the use of proactive measures, such as a live help desk, systems health monitoring, good policy development and training services actually reduced the cost of technology for our clients.

What Affect Could This Have For Your Organization?

Only you really know - but one thing is certain, when staff aren't productive because they don't really know how to get everything from their technology, if equipment is constantly malfunctioning, or if your systems are largely paper dependent, chances are your mission delivery is reduced due to waste...
On a positive note, great economies of scale are achieved when use of our systems are maximized - economies that we allow to benefit the nonprofits, families and individuals we support and this has always led to great outcomes.
