I heard that there is a way to get Microsoft Office and Windows 7 at a huge discount - do you know where I would go to get these

Microsoft very generously provides many of their software titles for almost free to qualified non profits.  A non profit named "TechSoup" manages these donations for Microsoft and many other software and hardware companies.

These are some of the titles and costs available at the time of this post:

  • Microsoft Office 2007 - $16/ea
  • Windows XP Pro - $8/ea
  • Visio - $20/ea
