How do I move files onto my USB Thumb Drive or External Hard Drive?

Expert Village... REMEMBER!  This leaves out the bit of Don't use your USB thumbdrive in a PC and then try to use it in a MAC! - These two very different systems will not recognize the same device and one of them will want to "reformat" your thumbdrive, which will wipe out all the info on it.  There are ways of doing this - contact our helpdesk for assistance.
